Joe Bush
Golf Professional
In 1997 Joe left a successful family business to compete professionally on
various mini-tours including the TearDrop Tour, and the NGA Hooters Tour.   In
2000, Joe won the TearDrop Tour's Diamond Players Classic in Clermont , FL.
It was also in 2000 that he started teaching at the Crescent Golf Range in Union
, NJ .  Joe played professionally for five years and still competes in both local
and national tournaments.
While at Crescent, Joe taught new golfers and accomplished players in both
private and group lessons.  His students range from young children to seniors.
Joe was selected by News 12 New Jersey network to prepare and conduct a
comprehensive ten week lesson program that aired in the summer of 2004.
Joe will customize a lesson program based on the golfer's goals and available
practice time.  His use of the V1 video analysis program will help students
understand their golf swing better.  Joe's goal is for his students to get positive
results on the course and enjoy the great game of golf.

Joe and his wife Kristen live in Scotch Plains with their daughters Jamie and
Kara.
James Bryant became a P.G.A. Apprentice in 2006. James worked at Cherry
Valley Country Club for five years until spring of 2007 where he worked in all
facets of the golf business from outside operations to teaching lessons and
running pro shop duties. After leaving Cherry Valley Country Club James took
the Assistant Golf Professional position at Concordia Golf Club in Monroe
Township performing tasks that are required of an Assistant Pro. James left
Concordia Golf Club to come to Branchburg Golf Center in May of 2007 as a
Teaching Professional and Manager of the Pro Shop. As a teaching
Professional, James has taught many different types of golfers from juniors to
seniors, and golfers with different levels of golf experience, working with
beginner to expert golfers. James has different techniques of teaching
depending on the students’ needs and wants. James has three main goals in
all lessons: gaining knowledge of the game and techniques, improving each
student’s personal game, and providing an enjoyable experience with every
lesson. James’ philosophy of golf in lines of teaching is that every golfer is
different but can improve with three main points: willingness the learn,
developing a solid swing using their body as a tool, and understanding the
game using knowledge acquired to each students advantage.

PGA Apprentice / Certified Custom Club Fitter
Steve was an accomplished junior and high school golfer and spent many
years working on his golf resume, which included stints at Tournament
Players Club at Prestancia, Jacksonville Golf & Country Club in Florida, and
the Country Club of Lansing in Michigan.  In 1994 he finished his Golf
Education to become a Class A PGA Professional.

After moving to New Jersey, Steve taught at Alpine C.C. for the 1993 season,
and then took the Head Professional position at Bogota Golf Center.  In
December of 2000 he acquired and became Head Professional of The Golf
Zone, which he sold in August of 2006.  Steve has been awarded NJ‘s PGA
Merchandiser of the year and the shop was a Top Ten shop for Titleist
nationwide for three years. Steve also sat on the Board of Directors of The
PGA of America, New Jersey Section from 2005-2007.

Steve comes to Branchburg Family Golf Center with 20 years of teaching
experience, and has expertise teaching all ages & levels, including 2 Woman’
s Club Champions here in Jersey. His teaching philosophy is based on
working with what each student brings to the lesson. Not everyone is looking
for or willing to make complete overhauls of their swing, so teaching one
method is not part of the approach. Instead finding the proper fundamentals
to work on and making changes that can be integrated into a student’s game,
which in turn provides results and enjoyment without starting from scratch, is
the goal.
Steve still works on playing competitively in the New Jersey PGA and fell one
step short of playing in the 2003 U.S. Open.
